HOW TRACE HEATING WORKS

Electric Trace Heating systems work by monitoring and adjusting the heat output according to the environment and the requirements of the user. This is done by varying the power output to the heating cable to compensate for temperature changes. The technology used minimises energy waste and also constantly maintains the required temperature.

This intelligent solution is achieved through the use of self regulating cables which both generate the necessary heat and simultaneously monitor the surrounding temperature and make the necessary adjustments automatically. The heating cables are controlled by smart control units that register temperature and moisture levels and tell the heating cables how to react to achieve the required temperature.
